Today, I shared my interview experience with all of you. Just take a couple of minutes to go through the article, and I’m pretty sure that you will get an overview of the company’s environment and the interview experience. Also, “How is everything going on?”

So, in the final year of my graduation, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a campus interview at our college for the position of Unit Manager at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. The day was filled with anticipation and nerves as we went through an exam, tricky aptitude questions, and general math assessments. However, what followed was an unforgettable experience that led to my selection and subsequent offer from the esteemed organization.

So, we divided the whole process into three parts:

  • Pre-Interview Process
  • The Interview
  • Feedback

Let’s discuss those steps in a few minutes:

Pre-Interview Process:

The day began with an exam, which helped the company assess our aptitude and problem-solving abilities. After the exam, we submitted our CVs, and the shortlisted candidates, including myself, proceeded to the next stage – the interview.

The Interview:

As I awaited my turn for the interview, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety. Finally, it was my chance to face the interview panel. To my surprise, there were two interviewers, one of whom was a lady and the other a serious-looking gentleman. However, their warm smiles put me at ease.

The interview began with a brief introduction, and the interviewers made it clear that I need not worry about speaking in English, as they were comfortable conversing in our native language. This was an advantage for many of us, and it instantly made me feel more confident.

The interviewers asked me about my background, education, and career aspirations. They delved into my strengths and weaknesses, and I found myself sharing openly and honestly. The conversation flowed naturally, and I could feel a positive rapport building with the interviewers.

During the interview, I was presented with a few basic questions related to the insurance industry and the role of a Unit Manager. The interviewers were impressed with my answers and acknowledged my sound understanding of the domain.

Feedback and Offer:

After the interview concluded, the feedback from the interviewers left me elated. They praised my conversation skills, which boosted my confidence even further. I thanked them with a smile, feeling immensely satisfied with how the interview had gone.

Within three days of the interview, I received the exciting news of my selection. Following the document verification process at the nearest ICICI Prudential Life Insurance branch, I was presented with the offer letter, solidifying my position as a Unit Manager at the esteemed organization.

So overall my interview experience at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance was truly a turning point in my career journey. The supportive and encouraging interviewers, along with the opportunity to speak in our native language, played a significant role in making the experience memorable. As I embarked on this new chapter in my professional life, I felt a sense of gratitude and excitement, eager to contribute my best to the organization and grow as a Unit Manager.

Thank you, everyone, and “WISH YOU ALL THE BEST” for your upcoming journey.
