Good day, everyone!

I hope you’ve all been having a good time

Well, I’m happy to share my technical interview experience because I recently applied for a data scientist position at Maersk Logistics. First of all, I’d like to state that I cleared their technical assessment and technical interview rounds, all of which were held online in virtual mode. I answered the questions confidently, and my interview lasted for around 21 minutes. It was a fantastic experience for me because it was my first technical interview.

I got the information about the job through my college TPO (Training and Placement Office) and registered for this job opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech. (CS/CC/DS/AI/DS & IT)—2024 batch up to 4 backlogs.

There are a total of 3 rounds (online assessment, online Technical Interview, online Techno managerial interview), out of which I cleared only the first one, the (online aptitude+technical) test. After the results of the first round, in my second technical round, the following questions were asked during my technical interview:

  • Are you nervous about your interview?
  • Introduce yourself, your journey till now in college, and your family.
  • What were your achievements until now?
  • Explain your projects in brief.
  • What is artificial intelligence?
  • Why do you want to choose the field of data science?
  • What would you prefer in your life—a career as a data scientist or in coding?
  • Our company provides business-related solutions. So, are you comfortable working for that company?
  • Any questions that you would like to ask?
