After you are selected for LTIMINDTREE as a fresher in a software engineer role then they give you Ignite Internship. This internship will be for 7-9 weeks. This internship’s aim is to remove the gap between campus and corporate. They divided this internship into 2 batches, one is from February to April and another is from May to July. We were divided into 4 groups depending upon different technology tracks like cloud, java, dot-net, and data. I was assigned a cloud track. So I can tell you about the experience and syllabus of cloud track.

For the cloud, track training was of 7 weeks.

Compensation:

Compensation was 10000 and 20000 rupees total. This compensation will be provided after onboarding. It will depend on your marks in 3 assessments. If you pass all 3 assessments with 60%-79% marks then they will give you 10000 rupees and if you pass with 80% or above marks then they will give you 20000 rupees.

Exam:

This internship consists of 3 exams. For each exam, you will get 2 attempts. If you fail in both attempts then you will move to the second batch. The passing mark on this exam is 60%. There is a sectional cutoff for mcq and hands-on.

Exam Pattern:

The total marks of the exam are not fixed. It is nearby 100 marks. Out of 100 marks, mcq was 40 marks and hands-on was 60 marks.

Exam Syllabus of Cloud Track:

The first 3-week syllabus was the same for all. It covers the basic syllabus. First 3 weeks we trained on core Java, database, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API, and web service.

The next 2 week’s syllabus were the operating system, Linux, bash shell programming, power shell, Cloud service, and Amazon web services. Basically, AWS consists of different services that AWS provides and how to launch them through the AWS console.

In the next 2 week syllabus was on terraform. Terraform is basically a language that is used to launch different cloud services through code. This week we were trained on how we can use Terraform to launch and modify different AWS cloud services.

They also assign us mcq and hands-on questions for practice which helps a lot.

Exam Experience:

This internship helps me to enhance my skills in the cloud and also in a bash shell, Linux, etc. Overall the experience was good. I learned a lot of new things. The questions of the exam were easy to moderate. In one word the internship was worth it.

Result:

Completed Internship successfully.
