In this article, I will describe my interview experience with LTIMindtree. LTIMindtree

I will discuss all the rounds that were conducted and also the interview experience in detail so that anyone who is or will be participating in future

Round – 1

Round 1 was an online MCQ test round which consisted of three subsections –

  • Numerical Aptitude
  • Logical Reasoning and English Test
  • Technical MCQs

Now the level of the Numerical Aptitude questions was easy to medium, it was doable if someone has practiced even the basics of the renowned topics like Percentages, Ratio, Proportion, LCM GCD, Proft, Loss, etc.

Next, the Logical Reasoning part was a little tricky and the English MCQs were mostly based on synonyms, antonyms, voice changes, comprehension, speech changes, etc. They were easy.

The Technical MCQs consisted of MCQs based on Core CS subjects like Networking, DBMS, OS, Data Structure and Algorithms, etc. It also consisted of Pseudo Codes mostly based on Bitwise operations. The normal MCQs were easy as most of them were from the general syllabus which is taught, but those pseudo codes were a little hard as we needed to find out the bitwise operation’s results.

Round – 2

Round 2 was different for different candidates because those who performed well in the last round were offered the higher package and for that, they needed to participate in a Coding Assessment. It was not an MCQ round, it consisted of 4 coding questions of easy to medium-level difficulty. Those who could at least do 2-3 of those questions correctly (all test cases passed) were offered the Level 1 package and those who passed all the test cases for all the questions were offered the highest package i.e. Lv 2.

After that everyone, whether it was a higher package candidate or the basic package candidate, had to go through a Spoken English Communication round, there was no interviewer, it was taken by a system developed by LTI, and there were questions of which the candidates needed to answer by recording their voice and based on the accent, accuracy, and fluency their marks were decided. This was an Elimination round too like Round 1.

Round – 3

Round 3 was Interview Rounds, Technical, and HR. Both of the interviews were in virtual mode. First I will discuss the Technical Round then HR.

My technical round lasted for 30 minutes and the questions that were asked are given below –

  • Introduce Yourself.
  • What is your favorite subject of B.Tech till now? (I said DBMS).
  • What programming language do you prefer? (I said Python)
  • Write a Program to find the factorial of a Given Number.
  • Write a Program to find whether a number is Prime or Not and try to optimize it.
  • What is the difference between Primary Key and Foreign Key?
  • What is the difference between DROP and TRUNCATE, and when and where to use that?
  • Syntax of adding a new row into an existing table.

He looked satisfied with my answer and ask me to leave the meeting as my interview was over.

Then the HR interview was conducted on the very next day, it lasted hardly 10 minutes, and the questions are below –

  • Introduce Yourself.
  • Where do you live and what is your closest city where there is an LTI office?
  • Will you Relocate?
  • What are your hobbies?
  • Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
  • Are you into Entrepreneurship?

After that, HR asked me if I have questions, I said no and then she said that I may leave.

That was my interview experience with LTIMindtree, hope it helps everyone who will be joining the interviews later.

All the Best
