Fresher Experience

Stepping into the university for the first time overwhelmed me with the feeling of excitement and fear. Excitement because I was about to start a new chapter of my life and this would be the place that I would call home for the next four years and Fear because this was the first time I was going to be away from my family for this long period and that too living alone.

The first few days went by the quickest. Initially, it was all just orientation and cultural programs and just general mentor sessions to have the students settle down and be able to find their way – metaphorically and literally, as the size of the campus is ginormous and you could easily get lost in it if you are new.

College Fests

One of the highlights of my college experience was attending the various fests and events that are held throughout the year. Almost every day if you were to have a free lecture and just walk past SDMA(Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium), you will most definitely find something going on there. It is one of the best parts and the best way to kill time during free lecture hours.

Good Things About College

There are many things to love about this university. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained. Security is commendable and it is one of the reasons I feel safe inside the campus. Moreover, there is DSW(Division of Student Welfare) where there are different clubs that one can join and express oneself. All in all, there is always something going on.

Bad Things About College

There are a few things that I would change about Lovely Professional University. One of them is the workload. The courses can be very demanding and it is easy to feel overwhelmed. I would also like to see more opportunities for students to get involved in research and other extracurricular activities.

Conclusion

Overall, I have had a positive experience at Lovely Professional University. I have learned a lot, made many friends, and created memories that will last a lifetime. I would recommend LPU to anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding college experience.
