My experiance.

Hello everyone, I have pursued my B.Tech degree at Presidency University in Bangalore. As we all know, these are challenging times due to the recession, and it’s especially difficult for IT professionals to find jobs. However, I was fortunate enough to secure a placement in one of the renowned companies, Tech Mahindra, through our university. Overall, the placements at Presidency University have been good, even during this recessionary period.

By becoming a part of Presidency University, you will not only gain knowledge and skills in your chosen field but also have the opportunity to experience the serene and nature-filled campus, which adds to the overall charm and appeal of the university.

I enrolled in Presidency University in 2019, and my experience has been enriching and educational. Even during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the university swiftly adapted by transitioning to online classes. This proactive approach was immensely helpful in ensuring continuity in our education.

The university’s seamless transition to online learning platforms allowed us to attend classes, engage with professors, and participate in discussions from the safety and comfort of our homes. The faculty members efficiently utilized various digital tools and technologies to deliver lectures, share study materials, and facilitate interactive sessions.

Despite the physical limitations posed by the pandemic, Presidency University maintained a high standard of education and continued to provide valuable learning experiences. The online classes not only ensured that the syllabus was covered but also provided a platform for students to interact with their peers and collaborate on assignments and projects.

The university’s dedication to our education and well-being during such unprecedented times demonstrated their commitment to student success. The online classes offered a sense of normalcy and allowed us to progress academically, regardless of the challenges posed by the pandemic.

I am grateful for the support and efforts put forth by the faculty and administration of Presidency University in adapting to the situation and providing us with a conducive learning environment, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Presidency University comprises seven schools and a college. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in information technology, commerce, management, and journalism. The schools provide education based on both national and international boards of studies. Alongside academics, the university also emphasizes extracurricular activities. Cultural programs, Ethnic Day, Christmas Day, and Karnataka Rajyotsava are celebrated enthusiastically. Every art and talent is wholeheartedly appreciated in this university.

One notable event at the university is the exhibition where we showcase our final year projects and explain them to others. This serves as a great opportunity for juniors to get a glimpse of what the final year projects entail and helps them foster their creativity until they reach that stage.

The campus, placements, labs, and extracurricular activities at Presidency University are commendable. The teachers never ignore any problems faced by the students; they do their best to resolve them and provide guidance for future endeavors. The university constantly strives to improve by organizing new events and implementing new technologies. Additionally, they offer excellent hostel facilities with good food, accommodation options for students, and buses for convenient transportation.

Presidency University has three canteens and various snack points on campus, all offering budget-friendly menus.

Infrastructure

The campus of Presidency University boasts a beautiful infrastructure adorned with trees and plants, providing a delightful natural experience. This serene environment enhances the overall ambience of the university and offers a peaceful atmosphere for students to study and grow.
