One of the biggest social networking programs LinkedIn on Wednesday launched its Creator Accelerator Program (CAP) in India. After its success in the US, LinkedIn started the same program in India in order to support creators and help them along with their communities on the platform.

The main aim of the program is to help the creators to create engaging content which is being liked by the audiences. This program will also create opportunities for the creators where they will be able to spark meaningful conversations with different people.

According to LinkedIn, this Creator Accelerator Program will boost the confidence of the creators.

Besides this, the 10-week incubator style initiative will give support to 200 creators and they will also get access by LinkedIn’s management team for educational workshops, access for using rich tools, opportunities for mentorship with popular creators, such as Pooja Dhingra, Ankur Warikoo, Nuseir Yaseen, and Radhika Gupta, along with many creator-to-creator networking chances. In line with this, the selected participant will also be given financial support for bringing his or her ideas to life.

Ashutosh Gupta, India’s country manager at LinkedIn said,

“By equipping a diverse range of voices with the right resources, the Creator Accelerator Program aims to help members unlock greater business opportunities with the content they’re making and the conversations they’re sparking.” He also added, “The creators will be shortlisted on the basis of their ability to build passionate communities, unique content, and spark discussions around a variety of professional topics such as skills, future of work and mental health, and find ways to engage with LinkedIn’s 85+ million members in India in a meaningful way.”

This program is innovative in its own kind by encouraging Hindi language creators for participating. They can create the programs by using various tools including newsletters, short-form posts, videos, etc. Also, while sharing some of the tips for the creators, Radhika Gupta, MD, and CEO, Edelweiss AMC said,

“The number 1 tip that I have is, you should be authentic. I know it sounds very simple, but really do what works for you. It’s also important to be focused on a particular space. You don’t want to be someone who’s commenting on food, work-life balance, sports, finance, and everything. Be focused and really write what comes to your heart. We often think that you need earth-shattering or ground-breaking discoveries to post content. I think you need simple, honest content that comes from the heart, that can resonate with the reader.”

After the United States, India is the second market where LinkedIn has launched this program and is planning to grow the creators’ community globally. They are calling the creators from diverse backgrounds and expertise as they will have the ability to access several domains at a single time. The application will be open till 16th March and the finalist will be chosen among the 200 participants.

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network service on the internet, which brings together a community of people and helps them to connect with each other. It is an engaging professional network and helps people to get their dream job.

While creating an account on LinkedIn you can manage your professional identity, build an engaging profile hence, attracting the right people.
