Round 1:

The initial phase of the assessment process, designated as Round 1, took place online within the confines of the college. It encompassed various components to gauge the candidates’ aptitude, reasoning abilities, and coding proficiency. A unique aspect of this phase involved participation in a game hosted on the ION platform.

The general aptitude segment of the assessment was tailored to evaluate candidates’ fundamental cognitive abilities, including numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning skills. This portion assessed the candidates’ capacity to solve problems efficiently and think critically.

Furthermore, the reasoning section delved into the candidates’ ability to analyze patterns, make deductions, and draw logical conclusions. This component provided insights into their analytical prowess and decision-making capabilities.

In parallel, the coding segment evaluated candidates’ programming skills, assessing their proficiency in various programming languages and their ability to write clean, efficient code to solve given problems.

Lastly, the inclusion of a game on the ION platform introduced an element of engagement and interaction, potentially evaluating qualities such as adaptability, strategic thinking, and teamwork in a dynamic virtual environment.

Overall, Round 1 of the assessment process served as a comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ cognitive abilities, technical acumen, and adaptability to diverse challenges.

Round 2:

In the second round of the interview, candidates typically encounter a technical assessment that gauges their proficiency in various areas. The session usually begins with a brief introduction where candidates present themselves. Following this, candidates are tested on their fundamental knowledge of C++ programming language, covering basic concepts and syntax. Additionally, questions related to the candidate’s resume are often posed to assess their experience and skills mentioned therein.

The technical round commonly includes coding questions aimed at evaluating problem-solving abilities and coding skills. These questions may vary in difficulty, but in this instance, they were described as “very easy.” Such questions are designed to assess a candidate’s ability to write clean, efficient, and logically structured code. While technical rounds differ across interviews and companies, they typically aim to assess a candidate’s technical competency, problem-solving approach, and ability to communicate their thought process effectively.

Candidates should prepare thoroughly for technical rounds by revisiting core programming concepts, practising coding problems, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the technologies and languages listed on their resumes. Additionally, being able to articulate their experiences and achievements effectively can significantly enhance their performance in this round.

Round 3:

Round 3 was the HR interview.
