KPIT Technologies | On-Campus Interview | 2023

So, I will start with total hiring process from,

There were 1 online test, 1 Technical interview round and 1 HR round.

Online test was on AON platform, CS fundamentals questions were there. Including basic programming, DSA theory , CN, OS and little bit SQL.

In Technical round, Interviewer started from my project and research paper. As my project was on MATLAB, he asked some questions from there, I got bit confused in MATLAB questions, but at the end he asked me to access element in array of MATLAB (Array indices in MATLAB starts from 1).

Then he moved towards some questions like

1. Access same element in C/C++/Java in 1D and 2D array. (Asked me to type it on whiteboard)

2. Difference between array and vector? which language do you use in array and strings problem and why?

3. Why do you use C++ for CP? why not Python/Java. Then why project was not in C++.

4. What are data types? its types.

5. What is enum data type ? it’s use.

6. Difference between Class, Union, Struct. which is better in particular situation?

7. What is OOP? Why there is need of OOP? Difference between Procedural oriented programming and OOP?

8. Pillars of OOPs. write a code to demonstrate it all.

9. what are the types of polymorphism? write code for runtime polymorphism.

and more related questions to this, then he asked me is there any question for him?

Then HR interview was of just 20 mins. I asked to tell about education, college, positives/strength and weaknesses. then family, background, hobbies etc.

After some days result were out, I got selected.
