KPIT Interview Experience for Trainee

Round 1:

It was an Online test conducted at home and it was 2:30 hours.

This test contains the 2 sections. The first section was about the aptitude section and the second section was about the coding round which contains basically two coding questions one is easy and the other medium level.

Aptitude Section

This contains the numerical and CS fundamental MCQ for 1 mark each and that was easy. You can prepare for this from geeksforgeeks or from the sand foundry. Any online platform you can use to refer mcq.

Coding Section

The first question was easy and it was to find out the number of currency notes required to fill up the one given amount. Like we do the simple mathematics fun in childhood. Same funda I used here. I did it fully.

The second question is about medium level but unfortunately, I do not remember that question. But this question I did up to half of it.

The test platform was METTL.

Round 2:

This was a Technical Round + HR Round.

In this round, she asked me about the basic CS fundamentals and some electronics-related questions from Microprocessor, some gates topic questions. This round lasts for 45 minutes. This interview happened at the time of my diploma. So, not many things are asked in detail. She asked the questions from OOPs and OS-related concepts just theoretical not at a deep level.

She asked some HR questions:

• Tell me about yourself.
• Your areas of interest.
• Why did you choose a career at KPIT?
• What are your strengths?

Lastly interviewer asked me If anything I wanted to ask and went for it.

Verdict! I got an offer from KPIT.

One advice to all is just to stay calm and answer the questions confidently. Practice and hard work paid off. Believe in yourself.
