jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDropDownList widget is a jQuery drop-down list that contains a list of selectable items displayed in the drop-down list.

The change event is used to triggered when the user selects an item.

The item has the following fields:

  • label – It specifies the label of item.
  • value – It specifies the value of item.
  • disabled – It specifies whether the item is enabled/disabled.
  • checked – It specifies whether the item is checked/unchecked.
  • hasThreeStates – It specifies that the checkbox item supports three states.
  • html – It specifies the display item in HTML. It can be used instead of label.
  • index – It specifies the item index number.
  • group – It specifies the item’s group.

Syntax:

$("Selector").on('change', function (event) { });
