jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful and optimized framework, platform-independent, and widely supported. The jqxCheckBoxGroup widget is used to display a group of checkboxes that allows users to select or deselect the checkbox group.

The theme property is used to set or return the theme for the jqxCheckBoxGroup widget. It accepts string type value, and its default value is empty (”). In order to use this property, we need to incorporate the theme stylesheet i.e. (jqx.energyblue.css) into the header section. The theme file is included after the “jqx.base.css” file.

Syntax:

  • Setting the theme property.
$("#jqxCheckBoxGroup").jqxCheckBoxGroup({ theme: 'energyblue' });
  • Returning the theme property.
var theme = $('#jqxCheckBoxGroup').jqxCheckBoxGroup('theme');
