jQuery UI Datepicker altFormat Option

In this article, we will see how to use the altFormat option in jQuery UI Datepicker.
The
altFormat option is used to set the value in the format we want in the jQuery UI Datepicker.

Syntax:

   { altField: "#field",
   altFormat: "mm-yy-dd" }
);
