Hey Everyone!!

I’m writing about something, especially about my experience during my college days.

I did BCA from here. I will tell everything as it is, not manipulate things and not give any extra credit to anyone. So, it is a very small campus of just 20 acres. So there is a shortage of hostel availability especially for boys. You’ll get it only for your 1st year. For girls there is not that much problem.

About the canteen, to be honest I never enjoyed there. I only went twice during my entire 3 years.

Now coming to the main points:

  1. Clubs: There are various clubs and you can apply for them.
  2.  Fests: This is a college where there are the least possibilities of conducting fests. We neither got freshers nor the farewell. the only fest I remember was this year the freshers were conducted and a cultural fest held only for 1 day each.
  3. Studies: I will tell only about BCA. The teachers will force you to have 75% attendance. You’ll find many teachers that will make you sit for the whole 1.5 hrs after that they come to class take attendance and go away. Or sometimes they will teach you for 15 to 20 minutes. Not all are like this but there are many teachers like this. Some teachers are like devotees to their teachings, you’ll find yourselves telling them to stop teaching. For every semester there are 2 sessionals and 1 final exam.
  4.  Placements: For BCA 98% of the companies came for sales jobs. No internships. Only one company came for a .net developer for one position but it also never conducted the 2nd round. Now I am not joking around here, we applied to various companies but most of them never cared to conduct even a single round (talking about those sales jobs). So you’ll definitely see many companies but the point is how many of them are conducting the placements.

For placements I can only say, it doesn’t matter if you do BCA, MCA, or Btech. from my experience, I’m telling you to prepare yourself for off-campus placements, or remote jobs. So that if the same thing happened to you you will have better options for your future.

Prepare DSA + any development + core subjects in your 1st 2 yrs only, no matter BCA or B.TECH. Even if you have to do MCA after BCA you can polish your skills and even learn new things.

Overall the experience was fine. I didn’t find competition in my batch. But if you find one you’ll enjoy to the fullest.

Thanks for reading.
