Jaypee University of Information Technology(JUIT) is situated in Waknaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India. The campus is spread over 25 acres.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have at least 60% overall in the 10+2 exam or its equivalent (65% for SC/ST).
  • The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent, or have at least attempted it, with Physics, Mathematics, and one subject each from Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship as required subjects.

Entrance Examination:

JEE Mains OR 10+2 Boards Examination

Admission Procedure and Counselling:

You can fill out the application form offline by going to the college admission cell, or you can access it on the organization’s official website.

The All India Rank of the JEE (Main) exam will be used to determine the merit list.

Note: For purposes of drawing merit, JEE Score/Ranking in any other category or State Category, including General, etc., shall not be considered.

Counseling Intimation:

Counseling requests must be made known in one of the following ways:

  • Dates for counseling will be listed on the universities’ websites.
  • All candidates who have been shortlisted will get emails.
  • The candidates will be informed of the merit-based counseling appointments.

Process of Counselling:

  • Candidates should be present in the college on the appropriate date according to their merit slots.
  • Then, candidates must complete the form that has been sent to them by the admission cell with their options for the desired branch. (Note: One should prioritize their selections because once you’ve been given one, you can’t go back to the one you filled out below.)
  • There will be no inter-university transfers permitted once the seats have been assigned because candidates on the merit list will only be permitted to choose one university during counseling.
  • Candidates are free to choose any programs or departments within the selected university. As a result, while staying at the same university, the candidate will have the option of upgrading the programs or branches according to their merit and priority of selection.
  • Following the selection of options, candidates will be called based on the merit list.
  • Following your phone call, Document Verification (mentioned below) will take place. You must submit a token payment of Rs. 75000/- (Rs. 50,000 as part of the first semester’s academic price and Rs. 25000 as non-refundable entry fees) after verification.
  • A Provisional Admission Letter will be provided to the student when they have taken a seat.
  • If your preferred branch is not available, you have the option of being waitlisted. If a seat becomes available, candidates will be selected for that seat based on a merit list. But you must submit a small sum in order to get placed on the waitlist.

Documents Required:

  1. Original Character Certificate
  2. Original Transfer/Migration certificate
  3. Marks Sheets and Certificate of High School
  4. Migrant certificate, if applicable
  5. AADHAAR card
  6. Original Medical certificate of fitness from MBBS qualified doctor (on letterhead of the doctor or letterhead of the hospital)
  7. Four copies of passport-size colored photographs.
  8. Anti-Ragging Proforma

When the students arrive on campus, original documents from Serials 1, 2, and 7 must be deposited, and Serials 3 and 5 must be produced for verification. Serial 8 – A printout of the online submission that has been duly signed by the student and parent/guardian must be provided with you for submission.

Conclusion:

The procedure is frequently simple; reviewing the papers and gathering the necessary data only takes a few minutes. The student is successfully enrolled in college after paying the fees.

In addition, different loans and scholarships are provided by banks and other organizations, and these options differ from state to state. Before paying fees, candidates should carefully review this material.
