Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering (JSCOE) Pune Admission Experience

Introduction:

I will share my admission experience for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) course in Computer Science at Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering, Pune. In this article, I will provide some key points required for the exams I went through, as well as the criteria and process of admission required at JSCOE.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for securing admission in JSCOE, there are some certain criteria to be met by students:

• The candidate must have passed the 12th standard examination with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

After I had my CET examination few weeks later, results were announced. Later on, I went through Centralized Admission Process (CAP), it is a standard process to take admission in Maharashtra colleges. There were many counselling sessions conducted for undergoing CAP process. I filled the college names in my CAP process and submitted the application. After few days, the college allotment list was announced and my name was selected under JSCOE college for Computer Science branch based on my merit in CET exam.

Confirmation and Admission:

Finally, I confirmed my admission by paying the required fees and submitting the necessary documents within given timeframe.

Some key points to be noted for securing admission in JSCOE:

• Start preparing for the CET early.
• Take mock tests to get a feel for the type of questions that will be asked on the CET, to score higher in examination.
• Apply for admission process as early as possible to avoid any issues or inconvenience later on.
