My interview experience with Infosys Limited consisted of two rounds of the interview process:

Technical Assessment:

The initial round of the interview was a technical assessment. It included a variety of questions covering C, databases, C++ object-oriented programming concepts, and aptitude questions.

Online Technical Discussion:

The second round was an online technical discussion, which lasted approximately only 15 minutes. In this round, the interviewer started by asking me to introduce myself. After the introduction, they proceeded to ask me some technical questions related to C++ and SQL. The questions included:

  • What is a class and object in C++?
  • Explain what object-oriented programming is.
  • Define abstraction in the context of object-oriented programming.
  • Discuss the various data types in C++.
  • Explain how to fetch all records from a table in a database using SQL.
  • What is the Primary and Foreign Key in SQL?

The interviewer asked some basic questions only. And, I gave clear answers to each of these questions, drawing on my knowledge of C++ and SQL.

After the interview, I had to wait for 20 days before receiving an email from Infosys, informing me that I had been offered the position of System Engineer.

However, as I had already received another job offer from a different company, I ultimately decided not to join Infosys and went with another one. I can say that my overall interview experience with Infosys was very good.
