IIT, Patna Campus Experience

Indian Institute of Technology Patna is developing fast and emerging as an institute of excellence promoting intelligent, hard-working and technically curious minds. IIT Patna has state-of-the-art infrastructure including classrooms and laboratories in imparting world-class education. Have a wide range of research programmes and many curricular and extra-curricular events to ignite the minds of engineering students.

Apart from academic and cultural activities, IIT Patna gives equal importance to sports as well. One can continue his/her passion in a game or sport even after a long breathless struggle to be in one of the best institutes in India. IIT Patna has a cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, tennis court, badminton court, and Table tennis tables within the campus where one can find students practising around the clock.

Infinito

Infinito is the annual sports festival of IIT Patna. It is a student-organized fest that has seen exponential growth in just 2 years and aims for a lot more in the coming years which would make it even better in its upcoming editions. As manifested in the name itself it’s for the people with infinite energy, enthusiasm, and zeal to play.

HOSCA

House of Socio-Cultural Affairs, prevalently known as HoSCA promotes a vibrant and eclectic campus experience through organizing innumerable multifarious activities about cultural events, bringing people from all walks, interests, and ethnicities together in ways that stimulate lifelong learning, and community interaction. The club coordinates an entire gamut of events that unleash the talent exuding from the budding student managers.

Students Gymkhana

The Students’ Gymkhana of IIT Patna (established in 2008) is the governing council of students consisting of the eed student representatives working for the overall well-being and holistic development of students in the institute.

Library

The Central Library of IIT Patna is one of the advanced libraries in terms of its collection and services. Central Library caters to the information needs of faculty members, students, research scholars as well as staff of the Institute, by offering a wide range of Information Technology (IT) based (and value-added) services and products.
