I started my JEE preparation back in 2019 as soon as I finished my class 10 board exams. I went to Kota, Rajasthan and joined a coaching institute for my preparation. I started my preparation fully motivated. In the first JEE Advanced pattern test, I got almost 75% marks. At first, I was not that happy as I used to score more than 90% in my school, but soon, I came to know that this mark was sufficient to make me stand on the topper list. I kept taking tests, and my marks kept getting lower. Now, I got used to seeing low marks.

I changed the institute in my class 12th. After 2 months of getting admission to the institute, there was a lockdown in the country, and I was stuck in Kota. I did not have a smartphone, so my studies also stopped. After waiting for 1 month, I went back home and continued my studies. Now I have also started watching movies and playing games. Almost 2 months before the JEE Mains Exam lockdown was over, I went back to Kota for my final preparations.

That year, we had a total of 4 mains. In the second exam, I scored the highest, and then my marks declined. Although I was able to crack JEE Advanced 2021, I did not have a rank that could get me into an IIT, and this became the reason for me to take the drop.

In the drop year, I again changed the coaching. I focused on only the selected topics of Advanced. Soon, JEE Mains appeared. I got a sufficient percentile, which could get me into a top NIT core branch. After the result, I came back home. I did not give my second Mains. At the final JEE Advanced, Physics just went wow and the other two subjects I just passed.
