Hi There Everybody…Today I am excited to share with you all my IIT-JEE journey. Let’s move back to 2020 to take a look at how I started my beautiful journey. The year 2020 was quite special to me as I passed class 10 with 90% and made my parents proud of me. Now the question arises which subject to take after class 10? As I was interested more in maths, I decided to carry on forward with PCM. That year I started to prepare for jee along with school studies. In the starting, I did not know anything related to that exam and therefore I started to research and collect information about books, the difficulty level of the exam etc. Finally, after learning that I needed to give at least 7-8 hours to self-study, I fueled myself and started preparation.

But the year 2020 came out with COVID-19, which we all know how dangerous it was. Many people died. Some suffer financial losses. That year gave a new way to live i.e. online studies were introduced for school studies, people started to understand the importance of saving money, etc. So, at that time I was not able to take coaching and school was also closed. Online classes were not sufficient and effective to crack that exam. So I just made up my mind and made self-study my only weapon for this exam. Eventually, everything was managed. In 2022, we were having CLASS-12 board exams in two terms, Term 1 and Term 2. and jee was close enough. Somehow I managed to give my best. According to me, your thinking means the most,i.e. you do what you think, so think positively and do positive. I appeared for jee mains and cleared it with good percentile. I was happy but was not well prepared for jee advice but somehow appeared and gave my best. I couldn’t clear it. But I managed to get a government college. This was My First attempt. I got admission to one of the GFTIs, i.e. Guru Ghasidas Viswavidhyalaya (Central University)Bilaspur. I am, right now, pursuing Civil Engineering.

Let me share with you guys how I used to make notes. Firstly, I will suggest you all purchase books for each subject, PCM. See, studying 1 book with all your heart and revising it many times you can is more effective than purchasing and studying 3-4 books at a time. So start with a book. Give an equal amount of time to each subject. Firstly read the book and highlight the important points according to you, then write those points in your notes in this way you have already done your units two times. After completing one-on-one units, read those notes and highlight imp points. In this way, you are done remembering the chapter and during the exam, you need just to learn that imp highlighted points to save your time and energy. See, this is a tough exam and therefore it needs all your Patience, Discipline and hard work. When the exam is 3-4 months away, you can prefer to sample question papers, previous year papers and YouTube crash courses to boost up your preparation. If you are already taking coaching then it’s good but I must say self-study is very imp in that case also.

To make your journey interesting you can write a diary to make yourself stress-free, as this is a long journey, guys. But one thing I say is that this journey teaches me to live and dream. Just remember: DARE TO DREAM.

The whole JEE Exam Experience taught me many lessons about life:

  • If we were not able to clear one exam that doesn’t mean that we have not worked hard but it shows that destiny has a different plan for us.
  • Never underestimate yourself, Trust yourself and your talent.
  • Never think about what people /Society will say, Just focus on your dreams.
  • A piece of paper can’t decide your future.
  • Never stop dreaming.
