Round 1 (MCQ)

Round 1 was mainly about aptitude, digital electronics, and basic coding MCQ questions which were held for around 1 hour. The aptitude questions were mainly from percentages, numbers, permutations, and combinations.

Round 2 (Technical Round)

In round 2 they started with digital electronics initially they asked questions like

  1. How to create 16:1 mux using 4:1 mux
  2. How to do 1s and 2s compliment
  3. What are the universal logic gates? Why are they called such

Then they started with a coding round in which they asked me to solve 2 questions

  1. How to remove duplicate elements in an array with O(n) complexity?
  2. N Queens problem
  3. Which data structure will be used to implement cache memory?
  4. How does Max heap work?

They are not confined to any language they only evaluate your thinking process.

Try to give as many creative and innovative solutions to the questions asked.

Round 3 (Technical Round 2 cum HR)

This was more of an HR round rather than a technical round. I was introduced to the team, and they told me to introduce myself and explain my skillsets. They walked me through the tools and frameworks used by that team. After a brief session of about 20 minutes, they closed the call and after 2 days I was informed that I got placed at IBM.

All the very best 🙂
