How to make a Slider tooltip extension using jQuery Mobile ?
  • Last Updated : 20 Dec, 2020

jQuery Mobile is a web based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets and desktops. In this article, we will be creating a Slider tooltip extension using jQuery Mobile.

Approach: Add jQuery Mobile scripts needed for your project.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css” />
<script src=”http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js”></script>
<script src=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.js”></script>

Example: In this example, we will create a Basic slider using jQuery Mobile. A slider is an input type to insert data using slider. We use type=”range” attribute with <input> element to create a Slider. Also use data-show-value=”true” and data-popup-enabled=”true” attribute to add tooltip.
