Install Stellarium on Ubuntu

Follow the below steps to install the Stellarium  on Ubuntu operating system:

Step 1: Update all the repositories using the below command:

sudo apt update

Step 2: Install the Stellarium application using apt manager, enter the below command in the terminal to install.

sudo apt-get install stellarium

Enter ‘ Y’ when prompted. Entering Y will start the installation process.

Step 3: To verify the installation of Stellarium on the system, just execute the below command. The command checks the version of Stellarium.

If you see the above output after executing the command, your installation is successful on the Ubuntu system.

Step 4: To launch the application, Goto the Activities Panel.

Step 5: Search for the Stellarium application in the search box.

Step 7: Clicking on the Settings option on the Right Side of the Application Panel, will open all the Settings of the application:
