Features in Safari available only for mobile browsers

Safari is developed by Apple. It is available in AppStore which is built into iPhones, Mac book, and iTabs. For iPhone users, Safari is the best option for browsing. Safari becoming a dominant form for all category professionals due to its functionalities and essential features. Most people use mobile browsers instead of web browsers right!, the reason behind this are features available in mobile browsers. Here in this article, we are going to discuss the features in the Safari browser which are only available in the Mobile version of Safari.

1. Change the Address bar position

The address that bar is a box that displays the text i.e., the address of the web page currently showing. By default, the location of the the address bar is at the bottom of the screen and if you want to move it to the top you can do that by the following steps:

Launch Safari Application on your Mobile:

• Click on AA available on the i.e. left side of the address bar.
• Click on the first option i.e. Show Top Address bar as shown in the image above.
• Now the Address bar will move to the top of the screen.

2. Change Default Search Engine

It Always try to search the things related to the text that the user have entered in search engine all over the web. You can change the default search engine in the safari and choose from different options available. Below are the steps to change the default search engine.

Launch Safari Application in your Mobile:

• Go to Settings.
• Select Safari Application.
• Select Search Engine.
• Choose the search you want to you for searching in browser from the options available there.

3. Request Desktop Site

Desktop site is the wide view of the website which we can also get this feature in mobile screens. If in any case you want to switch to Desktop mode you can do that with the below steps:

• Click on the option i.e Request Desktop Site.
• Now the Screen responsiveness will change to desktop.

4. Convert Webpage into PDF

By converting webpages into pdf format , we can save it our device which will be available in offline for future reference. Here are the steps to convert the webpage into PDF.

Launch Safari Application in your Mobile:

• Click on AA which is in the left side of address bar as shown in image above.
• Click on “Print” option available in the list of options.
• Click on the share symbol available at top of page beside Options keyword.
• Click on “Save to Files”, after that pdf will be saved in your device.

5. Enable Reader Mode

Reader Mode is the comfort and visibility efficiency to the users. Reader mode will give you more comfortable way of reading the text on the webpage. Here is the steps to enable the reader mode.

Launch Safari Application in your Mobile:

• Click on AA which is in the left side of address bar as shown in image above.
• Click on “Website Settings” option as shown in the image above.
• After that the second option i.e Use Reader Automatically (You can enable it as well as disable it for your convenience).

6. Clear History and Website data

Basically, History tells us the list of the thing that the user have previously visited or browsed. If you are concerned about your privacy you can delete you web browsing history by following the below steps:

• Go to Settings in your mobile.
• Select “Safari” application.
• Scroll down and click on “Clear History and Website Data”.
• Select the specification of history you want to clear
• Tap on “Clear History”

7. New Tab Group

Recent tabs are the minimised pages and eventually we can integrate them into one. If you want to create the collection of tabs or categorize them you can simply use the Tab Group feature to do that. Here is how you can do that:

• Click on New Empty Tab Group Option.
• Enter a name for your tabs group and click on save.

8. See Privacy report

Privacy report includes the information about the websites the tracker is following for prevention. You can see your privacy report by using the below steps:

• Click on AA which is located at left side of address bar.
• click on “Privacy Report” at top in the options list.
• Thus, your privacy report appears on screen.

9. Hide IP from Trackers

IP abbreviation is “Internet Protocol” , hiding it enhances the security of browsers and keeps you away from the website trackers. want to hide the IP address follow the below steps:

• Go to Settings in your mobile.
• Select Safari Application .
• Click on “Hide IP Address”
• Select “From Trackers”
• You can also off it.
