ROUND 1 (Online coding and aptitude round): This round had about 23-25 Mcqs and 1 coding question.

  • The coding question was simple but I was able to get only 12 out of 15 test cases and I still can’t figure out why the rest three test cases failed because run-time errors kept coming and the description of the question may have missed something because I made sure to cover all possible edge cases. The Mcqs wasn’t tough but time-consuming to a certain extent.
  • The Mcqs were in the topics of aptitude, logical reasoning, programming, and DBMS.Try to solve as many questions as possible as this will be a huge elimination round.

A total of about 200 students wrote this round.

ROUND 2 (Group discussion): The following day group discussions and interviews happened. About 60 were shortlisted for this round and we were split into 5 teams with each team having about 12 students.

  • We were given a topic initially, and each student was asked to individually talk about it for 2 minutes .
  • The interviewer called out our names one by one. A preparation time of 2 minutes was given, thus the starting few students didn’t have a lot of time to prepare.
  • Since I was called to talk relatively towards the end I had an advantage.
  • Then later we were asked to discuss about the topic as a group about the topic for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure you speak at least 1 or 2 times and say some valid points.
  •  Then finally the interviewer would again call out student names and ask us to conclude the topic in about 30 seconds.
  • The most important factor in this round is speaking so make sure you speak as much as possible without creating a commotion.
  • In my opinion, a bit of luck is also required in this round and good communication skills are a must along with confidence.
  • It was a non-technical GD and my topic was ‘Impact of AI in our general lives – Pros and Cons

ROUND 3 (Technical Interview): 23 students were shortlisted for this round. The technical interview was for about 30 minutes. It was based on the things you had mentioned in your resume. Since ,my resume had front-end web development projects I was asked questions in that domain. I was also asked about web-development projects I had done in front-end.

  • Since I had used HTML, CSS, and Javascript technical questions were also asked in that .
  • The difficulty was easy-medium level.
  • Then I was asked a DSA coding question.
  • The question was to find out all the duplicates in a string and print out the duplicate characters followed by the count of duplicates and finally followed by the indexes where they are found. I used a hash map and solved it.
  • I was nervous and took a bit more time than usual. The main aspect interviewer looked for is the approach and getting the desired output comes second.

ROUND 4 (HR): The final HR round happened 1 day later. About 14 students were shortlisted for this round.

  • The interview was for about 20 minutes. It was like a normal HR round.
  • Some questions I was asked were to introduce myself and I was asked to say what I knew about the company.
  • I was also asked about my weaknesses, hobbies, etc. I was then asked a situation-based question.
  • The situation based question I was asked was that if I was in a boat with two other people – my brother and my friend and if I can save only one of them when the boat collapses who would I save and why?.

TIP: Try to be as honest as possible for this round and read about the company and go for this round. Be confident when answering.

I received the results the next day. A total of 11 students were finally selected and I was one among them.
