Enquero (A Genpact Company) provides new-age technology solutions to help enterprises in their digital transformation journey by leveraging the power of hyper-automation, advanced analytics, and digital engineering while ensuring a strong foundation of trusted data.

The company came to our campus in the month of October for a Software Engineer role.

There were a total of 4 rounds.

Round 1: It was an online assessment that took place on HackerRank. It consisted of around 25 questions including MCQs and one coding question which was quite easy. A total of 64 students were shortlisted after round 1.

Round 2: It was GD and it happened offline. The students were divided into 5 batches.

  • I was in batch 1 and there were 12 students in my batch, including me. Two panelists were there with us and they first asked each one of us to briefly introduce ourselves.
  • After the introduction, we were given the topic “Social Media Influencer: Impact on Human Behavior and Society” and 2 minutes to think about the topic. Then one by one, each one of us had to speak about the topic for about 2 minutes.
  • Once everyone was done, then GD started which lasted for about 18 minutes and at the end, each one of us was given a chance to conclude.

Round 3 Technical Interview: A total of 30 students were shortlisted after round 2, and I was one of them.

  • In this round, the interviewer focused on my project and asked me in-depth questions related to it.
  • We had a really great discussion about the project and I answered most of the technical questions related to my project.
  • Then he asked me questions on OOPS.
  • I wasn’t asked to code, but there were other panelists who asked basic coding questions such as reversing a string, to check if the given string is palindrome and printing patterns.

My interview duration was about 25 mins. It wasn’t one of the best, I believed I could have done better.

Round 4: It was a fun activity.

  • A total of 18 students were shortlisted for this round, and luckily I was one of them. We were split into teams of two and we were given a task. We had 1 hour to complete the task and 10 minutes to present it.
  • This was a very good round as we learned a lot of things and got to know each other better.
  • Trust me, this was something that I had never experienced before in any of the typical interview processes which consist of technical, managerial and HR rounds.

After a very hectic day, the results finally came and a total of 13 students were selected out of 18 and I was one of them.
