Ellucian Interview Experience

Ellucian visited our college to hire students for Internships and full-time roles 

Round 1:

It consisted of only 1 section.

There were 18 questions in total. However, the categories of questions were different.

• First Category: It comprised 15 technical multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that covered topics like OOPS, SQL, and predicting the outputs of C++ and Java programs. The level of difficulty was intermediate.
• Second Category: This had 2 puzzles that were subjective i.e. you have to write the answer in your own words explaining the logic of your answer.
• Third Category: It came up with 1 coding question to solve. You can select any language of your choice for writing the code. Compared to coding questions from other firms, the questions were rather simple.

Out of 300+ students who appeared for the first round, 43 of them got the selection mail for the second round.

Round 2: Technical Round

This round varied for everyone, some were asked questions about projects and some were ground on OOPS. OOPS was the topic that was asked by almost every interviewer and up to a good depth as well. Apart from oops, a few data structure questions were there, and some discussions about projects like why this tech stack why not this, what was your contribution in the group project, and all of that. With this, the round ended up!

Round 3: HR Round

Like the traditional HR rounds, this was also based more on behavioral questions and your resume. Why Ellucian? What it does do, what are your expectations? Any questions for us!? It’s very important to know the Job Description and must know about the company beforehand.

TIP: Don’t write something on your resume that you don’t know because you’ll be grinded on your resume!
