Yes, the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) model includes the idea of iterations, which are comparable to Scrum’s sprints. Iterations are referred to as program increments (PIs) in SAFe.

Here are some points that are also considered:

  • An Agile Release Train (ART), which is made up of several teams collaborating, produces incremental value in the form of functional, tested software and systems within a programme increment. The length of each programme increment varies based on the needs and circumstances of the organisation, although it usually lasts 8–12 weeks.
  • During a program increment, teams plan, execute, and deliver features and other work items according to the priorities established by the Program Backlog. At the end of each Program Increment, there is a program increment (PI) system demo, where the teams demonstrate the features they have developed to stakeholders and receive feedback.
