DeltaX Interview Experience 2023

It is a one-day drive and three rounds are there and just after that day, they roll their offer letters.

Round-1 MCQ Round

50 MCQ-45 minutes

Solve a maximum of 30 minutes to be on the safe side.

Topics-DBMS, C pseudo-code, Operating System, OOPS

In my college, they selected 26 students out of 800(solving a maximum of almost 50), and I was one of them.

Round-2 Coding Round

5 Coding Question – 2 hours

2 Easy but lengthy-20 minutes each, 2 Medium -25 minutes (standard questions), 1 hard -30 minutes (standard question)

Switching between questions is not allowed and the time limit is just sufficient to answer the questions. So basically they open every student’s code and review the approaches, and if they like it they will select you so try to write the code they will review and select you even if you can solve 2 questions out of 5 like in my case I was able to solve 2 medium question but I solved the other three almost but due to limited time they selected me for the next round and do not copy from anyone they will view your code.

Out of 26 students only 1 student was selected for interview and that was me.

Round 3- Interview Round

• Interview was around 1.5 hour long , they started with my introduction, and questions to make me comfortable , then asked me about my projects and explain in deep then they started asking about web technologies (15 min) .

• After that they give me same coding question that came in my online assessment , i told them the approach and wrote the pseudo code , after that other interviewer gave me another question from the same online assessment , it was graph question, i told the approach and pseudo code for that too .

• After that they asked me Four pillars of OOPS , i defined deeply then they gave me scenario based on DBMS Normalization ,Cardinality concept , i got little confused there but they helped me there .And then they asked if i have any questions i asked about the role and technologies they use.

Next day i got the result , i was selected in the interview . The process is tough but if you are great inn problem solving and have good knowledge about Core Subjects you can crack it .
