I just went to an on-campus interview with Cubic Logics to interview potential candidates for the position of Trainee Software Engineer.

Position: Trainee Software Engineer

  • Need to have finished a React or.net project for an internship or university
  • Proficiency with HTML5, bootstrap, React, AI/ML, and microservices on the Azure platform.
  • Proficiency with MySQL, Mongo DB, and MS SQL
  • Concepts of software engineering

Required qualifications: MCA or BE/B. Tech in computer science

An internship Time frame: Half a year

The selection procedure consists of four rounds:

First round: MCQ test online

This round of testing lasted for around 120 minutes without the use of a webcam. There are four parts to this test:

  1. Algorithms: It consists of queues, linked lists, topological sorting problems, and other algorithms. You should be familiar with DSA ideas.
  2. Reacts: React pseudo codes.
  3. C++ pseudo code questions
  4. Questions about aptitude

You can only answer these if you possess a solid understanding of the ideas; otherwise, you will not be allowed to advance in this round. Out of the 384 candidates, the cut-off for this stage is high; just 50 students advanced to the following round.

Technical Round 1:

The company’s personnel have taken this technical round, and they will be questioning me about oops principles and coding, as well as about projects I completed in college and personal projects. Next round with the CEO of the company if you pass the second round. Only thirty of the fifty students were eligible to move on to the next round.

Technical Round 2:

The CEO of the company was chosen for this round’s technical round. He questioned candidates about their projects and used a hypothetical scenario to test their ability to reason. The way we answer the questions and explain the topics is really important, thus we should be honest.

HR Round :

HR Round: In just one day, the entire requirements process will come to a close. If you pass all three rounds, you’re practically done. They ask you questions to assess your communication abilities and give you an explanation of the position.
