Codsoft Interview Experience as C++ Intern

Codsoft is an IT services and consultancy firm focused on crafting inventive solutions for businesses. Through their internship program, they offer hands-on learning via live projects and real-world experiences to students aiming to develop essential tech skills.

I came to know about Codsoft from an article on Medium and browsed through their internship domains. Instantly I became interested in their C++ internship, as I needed to implement my knowledge on some real live projects.

We were provided with 3 tasks to complete to get the completion certificate. The tasks were as follows:

1. One of my early assignments involved creating an engaging Number Guessing Game, which turned out to be a truly rewarding experience. This task challenged me to think outside the box and apply a range of programming concepts using C++. Throughout the process of designing and refining the game, I was able to delve deeper into the intricacies of C++ syntax and logic, ultimately enhancing my programming skills.
2. My second task was to make a feature-rich calculator. This assignment served as a remarkable avenue for me to delve into more intricate data structures and algorithms. Building the calculator was undoubtedly challenging but incredibly rewarding as I was able to witness my skills grow significantly.
3. My final task was to develop a Word Count Program that counts the number of words in each file provided. It required knowledge of file handling, string manipulation, and efficient data structures.

During this journey, we were always guided by a team of mentors who were there for us whenever we needed them or had some doubts.

To sum up, it was a fabulous experience and helped me significantly to solidify my foundation in C++ as well as gave my resume a boost.
