Codechef Interview Experience for Doubt Solver

In this article, I want to share my interview experience on how I became a doubt solver in Codechef. So, first of all, Who are Doubt solvers in Codechef?

Doubt solvers are the ones who solve the doubts of the users of Codechef while solving problems of the practice section in CodeChef. where they can give hints, explain the question, explain test cases and even solve the question for them wherever they are stuck.

How can I become a Doubt solver in Codechef?

It’s simple first you have to be eligible to apply:

1. At at least you should be four star on Codechef
2. solved atleast 100+ problems on codeshef platform
3. participated in 20+ contests on CodeChef

After meeting the above requirements I directly applied to the CodeChef portal in the “work with us” section with my resume attached. Then on the next day, I got the phone call from the CodeChef recruiter who told me that it is going to be a phone call interview. Then my interview started when he asked questions like-:

why do you want to be a Doubt solver.

What type of value you can add to us.

He checked my Codechef profile and also my experience in volunteering and teaching.

Similarly, he asked some basic HR-type questions and there were no technical questions as I already showed my skills in my codechef profile and resume as I have participated in 30+ contests and 120+ questions and I already had some teaching experience. So yeah, he was satisfied with me and on the next day, I got the mail from CodeChef that I got selected ????????

Is it paid? yes

Do I have to work full time or half time? just 2 hours per day which they stated in their portal
