CEDCOSS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Interview Experience (Off-Campus)

I applied for the post of Associate Software Engineer at CEDCOSS during their off campus drive for batch 2024. The process of hiring is categorized into 5 sub-processes:

1. Technical Assessment (Online) : This round contains basic questions from various subjects such as basic mathematics, logical reasoning, computer programming, computer science (OS, DBMS, etc.) and English. This round is quite easy to clear if you have been an average (or above average) student throughout.

2. HR Round (Online) : The HR round doesn’t need that much of preparation as they ask you some basic things about you and how would you act in so and so situations. This round basically lets them know about you and your personality, communication skills and thinking process.

3. Technical Interview I (Online) : In this round, they asked all the questions related to technology (as mentioned in the name) such as:

• Preferred Programming Language (mine was C++)
• Data Structures (stacks, queues, linked lists, heap, etc. with their working and types)
• OOPS (very important)
• Database (basic SQL)
• Some Trending Technologies (such as AI, ML, etc.)

Then, they asked me to solve one question on my notepad in screen share. It was mentioned in the question to be solved using Dynamic Programming but I knew only theoretical part of it. I explained it to them and solved the question without using DP.

The question: Find all the subsequences of an array using Dynamic Programming.

At last, we ended up having discussions about the company and the services it provides with a brief structure about the technologies they use.

PS: Just be nice and polite with the interviewer and if you don’t know something then you can ask them about it, don’t hesitate to ask anything.

4. Machine Round (Offline) : The machine round was supposed to be done in offline mode only in their Lucknow office but due to some issues, it was conducted in online mode this time.
This round was completely programming based and I was given with 2 easy-medium level questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
To clear this round, just practice geeksforgeeks easy to medium level questions.

5. Final Technical Interview (Offline) : I cleared first four rounds till now and my final interview is yet to be scheduled. This round will definitely be in offline mode in the Lucknow office. I will let you know once I am done with it.

The experience has been fantastic and the process has been done so smoothly and as fast as possible. The hiring managers have been so polite and easy to communicate with which shows their work ethics and environment.
