Carelon Global Solutions Interview Experience For SWE

My interview experience at Carelon Global Solutions was quite memorable. It consisted of three rounds: an online assessment, a Communication round, and a technical interview.

To begin with, after submitting my resume, I was among the many students selected to participate in the online assessment. This round included multiple-choice questions covering aptitude and technical topics, along with a coding question focused on arrays. Despite the time constraints, I managed to solve the coding question, and 111 students, including myself, progressed to the next round.

The next stage was a communication round, which wasn’t elimination-based. Following that, I had a managerial round interview that lasted around 45-50 minutes. During the interview, we discussed various topics ranging from data structures and algorithms to SQL and operating systems.

Interestingly, the interviewer noticed that my name was at the top of the list of candidates selected for the next round and inquired if I had cheated during the coding round. I assured him that I had completed the coding task independently. To validate my claim, he asked me to write the same solution I had submitted during the coding round. I confidently wrote down the solution, and then he matched it to what I had submitted earlier and satisfied and he further tested my abilities with additional coding questions and puzzles.

Towards the end of the interview, I had the opportunity to ask questions about Carelon Global Solutions, and the interviewer provided detailed insights about the organization. Overall, the interview lasted around 50 minutes and left me with a positive impression of the company. It was undoubtedly one of the best interview experiences I’ve had so far, out of the 35+ interviews I’ve attended. And in the last, I was selected.
