C-DOT Interview Experience

C-DOT came to our campus to interview candidates for a full-time position as a research engineer. Bangalore/Delhi was stated as the company’s location.

Eligibility:

CGPA requirements
7 CPI or above is the general group.
6 CPI or above for the SC/ST/PH/OBC group
Requirements for Age:
Basic rule: Age shouldn’t exceed 25 years
OBC category: You shouldn’t be older than 28.
SC/ST/PH category: Age limit of 30 years or less
Round 1: Resume-Based Shortlisting: (Be careful to make your resume attractive means adding more projects and technical knowledge(subject + Language)). Do mention Certifications.

Round 2: One interview only (Technical +HR) in front of a panel of 2 people. My interview lasted 25 minutes, and since my specialization was in Data Science, most of the questions were from ML and DL and my ongoing thesis.

• Tell me about yourself.
• Asked to explain my project and asked some questions regarding the same.
• Difference between AI, ML, and DL.
• Explain Convolution Network. Why C-DOT?
• Time Complexity to Find the largest leaf node.
• Tell your favorite data structure and its real-world applications.
• Asked about my Current Thesis work.
• Will you be able to relocate to Delhi?
• The results were announced on the same day, and I was selected.

Tips: Be thorough with your projects and thesis if you are a Master’ Student and the basics of all your subjects (mostly CN, OS, DAA, DS and DBMS. And explore the working domain of the Company and make the interview interactive rather than mugging up and repeating.
