BNY Mellon Interview Experience for Internship (On-Campus) 2023

Round 1 (Online Assessment): 4 Questions, 1 easy, 2 medium, 1 hard. Solved both medium and 1/2 hard, and 1/2 easy. Selected for Round 2

Round 2 (Technical Interview 1) Started off with an Introduction, the interviewer asked:

• how would I explain the concept of OOPs to a new person, I explained the 4 points, abstraction, polymorphism, data encapsulation, and inheritance with suitable examples and use cases.
• Standard DSA question 1: Create a linked list and traverse it.
• Standard DSA question 2: Merge two sorted arrays.

Round 3 (Technical Interview 2) Started with a discussion of projects and tech stack, and idea, major discussion was around the idea of the project, was asked to give a walkthrough of a website I made.
Standard DSA question: Group Anagrams

Round 4 (HR + Tech) Started with an introduction and discussion of Projects and ideas. Standard HR questions. Was asked to explain the difference between struct and array in C++ (Lasted for just 15 minutes).

Note Be thorough with the points on your resume, all the three interviewers questioned based on my resume.
