The BIT campus also includes Kuvempu Kalakshetra, a multifunctional auditorium with a capacity of roughly 800 people.

The precise amount of intake of students in the respective branches like 180 students in CSE, 120 in ISE, 60 in AI/ML helps BIT in excelling the academics and being among the max GOLD medal Holders in the VTU Examinations. My college is fortunate to have had some outstanding faculty members. The faculty members are really good. They are driven, knowledgeable, and committed to seeing us through. Most of them are Assistant and Associate professors with some of them being Professors with lots of knowledge and many Reseach papers published in their respective specialization fields. Every faculty values our perspectives, promotes open discourse, and offers insightful commentary. Any learner can grasp complicated things with their knowledge and direction. The professors are friendly and always eager to help you and provide clarification. Their dedication to advancing our education motivates us to pursue excellence and realise our full potential.

Hostel

The hostel in BIT s like a big family of students from all over the nation due to its mix culture of 45% Karnataka Students, 30% North Indians, 25% Management Quota and 5% SNQ quota. It won’t be overstating things to claim that BIT campus hostels offer space for students’ holistic growth in addition to providing hygienic cuisine with boys Hostel located just 100 meters from the college and girls’ hostel being 5km in JP Nagar.

Canteen

The campus’s college canteen is one of the sites with the most activity. Of course, it is renowned for its delectable cuisine, but it is also where students create some of their most treasured college memories. Two canteens serving all meal types are located on the BIT campus, one near the front door and the other at the back entrance. Both of the canteens are clean and well-kept.

Health service

Since illness treatment and a nurturing environment might hasten a student’s recovery, allowing them to resume their studies and classes sooner than they might otherwise. BIT is committed to delivering primary healthcare assistance because they have faith in this. The KIMS hospital, which is located on the same site as BIT, provides students with ample help in this area.

Bank

The campus is home to a branch and an ATM machine for Canara Bank. It is located on the first floor of the main structure. By meeting the standard bank standards, students can open an account without any difficulty. The bank’s business hours Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., excluding the second and fourth Saturdays, general holidays, and bank holidays.

Students Clubs

Around 25 recognized clubs are available at BIT, including clubs in every discipline, including TED-X, Rotaract, coding groups, and more. These clubs support students’ academic and personal development while also fostering the college’s expansion.

NCC and NSS

BIT also serves NSS and NCC with the aim to create a pool of trained, organized and motivated youth with various leadership qualities in every walk of their live and serve the Nation irrespective of career they choose.

Manthan- A Techno Cultural Fest

MANTHAN, the Bangalore Institute of Technology’s yearly techno-cultural festival, is a two-day event where BIT comes to life with music, dance, and entertainment where memories are built. MANTHAN has developed into one of the most eagerly awaited student-organized youth festivals in the City and has long been a beloved tradition for BIT. Every year in the month of APRIL, this much anticipated inter-college festival takes place in the summer and features more than 50 artistic and technical activities.

Placements

With nearly 100% placements and an exceptional placement rate, our college offers students intriguing employment options. Our campus is visited by numerous businesses from various industries, providing excellent prospects. Multinational firms including Amazon, SAP Labs, Samsung, Accenture, DELL, Capgemini, BOSCH, and others have taken part in some of our placements. While the top package has impressively reached 21 lakhs per year for the year 2023 and 37 LPA for the year 2022, the average package awarded to students varies from 5 to 6.5 lakhs per annum. These placements demonstrate our college’s solid industry reputation as well as the ability of our graduates to land satisfying jobs.
