Bajaj Finserv Health Campus Ambassador Interview Experience

I am a final year undergraduate student in the field of computer science and engineering at Lovely Professional University. I am going to share my interview experience for the position of Campus Ambassador at Bajaj Finserv Health.

REGISTRATION

Last year during my 5th semester, One information notice from my university placement cell was floated to me stating, that I was eligible for the Information Notice of the Bajaj Finserv Health.

To begin with my experience, I want to state to you the thought behind registering for that information notice drive of Bajaj Finserv Health.

Initially, I thought of not registering and ignoring like every college student the Information Drive notice of any company. Then I gave some thought, to some of the things that were going through my mind and finally decided, This company is a very good company and let’s register for it. At that time, I was not aware that this Drive was actually for the Campus Ambassador Program. It’s really very interesting. With the mindset that at least I will be able to see the events conducted by such a reputed and well-known company, I registered it.

After some days, I got to know about the shortlisting and it was informed to me that I was shortlisted for the Technical Session of Bajaj Finserv Health. I was informed to report at 9:00 am at the venue but I ignored it. Suddenly, I got a call from the placement cell asking me to report to the venue as soon as possible. Again I ignored but again a call on my number. But this time, from the company relation officials which is known as POC who is the head of company relation in University. I was not in the mood to report then some of my friends say just go and attend the session and I was not having any other option except to go . And finally I reported there at the venue and When I reached there, I found that One Engineer of the company was taking the session on “Product Development” and was basically related to full stack development. I attended it for a very short time and the session ends.

In continuation, Now here the interesting things came. Out of 200-250 Registered candidates, the LPU’s officials announced that 25 people are shortlisted for the interview and all rest can leave. I was one of the selected candidate for the interview . Now they asked us to report to the Placement Block in formals. I thought not to go there because who will go back to the hostel, wear the formals and then come for the interview. I told my friends about this and said that, I am not going to be part of this process anymore but they anyhow told me to go through the process and I went for it.

When I reached to the interview venue, It was a full of waiting things. Everyone was waiting with their CV’s. Interview started after some time and I was one of the last candidate for the interview. After long queue, my turn came.

**Interview Room**

I entered the interview room and greeted the dignitaries. There were two people in the room. One was the engineer working in that company and a female HR.

The male interviewer asked for my CV and asked me to Introduce myself. He kept the interview questions on the extra-curricular side majorly and asked some of my experience in the same. I told them about my participation in extra curricular activities and conducting and leading the events . He was quite cooperative and friendly. He was talking like a friend and some more question he put forward to me. One most important question asked me about , “how will you manage other events like I was a member of different student’s organization along with Bajaj events”. I gave my reply to the question and he was finally convinced with that. Then he asked his colleague who was actually the HR , Do you have any questions? She replied gently, No.. I am done…I thought what is happening?

Finally He said, You can go now.

**Out of the interview room and waiting for the result**

I came out of the interview room and was confident that I am not going to be selected . Please leave me so that I can go and sleep in my hostel. While the meantime, everyone in the room was seem to be confident and was in a full mood of discussion and there discussion was on full mode. I decided to seat in the corner and take a nap. Why to waste time, utilize it?

Finally , Arrival of Student Placement Coordinator with a A4 size sheet in a file and file contained result.

Then he announced first name, second name and third name…[ It was mine …I thought wow, I have done something] and finally four students were selected as Bajaj Finserv Health Campus Ambassador.

Now , the company officials gave us goodies to each one of us and yes , receiving the goodies was the best part about the whole day.

The goodies contained Bag. Don’t worry, initially I also thought that it is just a bag having company name. But inside that bag, wow, good things were there…

Headphone, Wireless Mouse, Coffee Mug, Notebook , Pen, T-shirt and a note from company.

It was really a Interesting day.

Let’s understand the real aspect of a campus Ambassador .

Campus Ambassador simply means representative of any company. The company appoints campus Ambassador in order to organize any events , workshops, hackathons and any session , and for that a team is there for them who will work for the company and yes you are the face of that company.
