Center : Lokmanya Tilak (LOTI) School , Ujjain

Introduction:

As I embarked on the journey of board exams, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Being a student of Class 12 in GOVT Excellence School, Ujjain, I had chosen the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) stream due to my passion for science and problem-solving. Throughout the year, I dedicated countless hours to mastering these subjects, knowing that the board exams would be a defining moment in my academic career. Let me share my exam experience in each subject, highlighting the efforts and emotions that accompanied me during this crucial period.

Day 1 – Subject: Physics:

The first day of the board exams greeted me with the Physics paper. Physics has always been my favorite subject, and I was eager to showcase my understanding of complex theories and laws. The question paper covered various topics, ranging from mechanics to electromagnetism. I approached each question with a calm and systematic mindset, breaking them down into manageable parts. Methodically solving the numerical problems allowed me to demonstrate my grasp of the concepts. Though a few questions posed challenges, I remained confident and optimistic about my performance.

Day 2 – Subject: Chemistry:

On the second day, it was time for the Chemistry exam, a subject I knew was vital in the PCM stream. I had devoted considerable time to mastering chemical reactions, equations, and the periodic table. The Chemistry paper presented a balanced mix of theoretical and practical questions. I approached the organic chemistry reactions with precision, ensuring that my representations were accurate. Although a couple of questions appeared tricky, I relied on my understanding and made educated guesses. Despite the difficulties, I completed the exam with determination, hoping for a satisfactory outcome.

Day 3 – Subject: Mathematics:

Mathematics held immense significance for me as a PCM student. Throughout the year, I had invested extensive effort in learning calculus, algebra, and geometry. The Mathematics paper presented a comprehensive set of questions, putting my problem-solving skills to the test. I decided to begin with the questions I felt most confident about, which boosted my morale. However, some lengthy proofs and optimization problems demanded careful attention to detail, testing my patience. Despite the challenges, I remained composed and worked diligently to solve the problems within the allotted time, determined to showcase my proficiency in the subject.

Day 4 – Subject: English:

English proved to be an interesting challenge for me, as it required consistent practice and improvement in language skills. The question paper encompassed grammar, comprehension, and creative writing. With confidence, I tackled the grammar and comprehension sections, showcasing my proficiency in the language. However, I felt a bit anxious while attempting the creative writing part. Nevertheless, I composed a coherent essay, reflecting my ideas eloquently, and hoped to leave a positive impression on the examiner.

Day 5 – Subject: Computer Science:

Computer Science was an additional subject for me as a PCM student. While I had a solid foundation in programming concepts, I knew that I needed to put in extra effort to grasp the more advanced topics. The Computer Science paper included programming languages, data structures, and algorithms. With determination, I efficiently solved most of the programming problems, highlighting my programming prowess. Additionally, I answered the theoretical questions to the best of my knowledge, ensuring a well-rounded performance.

Day 6 – Subject: Physical Education:

Physical Education provided a refreshing break from the theoretical subjects. Throughout the year, I had actively participated in various sports and activities, which made me confident during the practical exam. Demonstrating different sports techniques and explaining the rules of various games brought joy to the evaluation. My passion for physical education shone through as I showcased my skills with enthusiasm.

Day 7 – Subject: Second Language (Regional Language):

The Second Language exam tested my proficiency in the regional language. Being a native of Ujjain, I was fluent in the language, which gave me an advantage during this exam. I approached the questions meticulously, writing clear and concise responses, showcasing my command over the regional language.

Conclusion:

My board exam experience was indeed a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with excitement, nervousness, and determination. I had poured my heart and soul into my studies, and it was evident in my performance during the exams. With the unwavering support of my teachers and parents, I faced the challenges head-on and remained positive throughout the process. As the exams concluded, I eagerly awaited the results, hopeful that my hard work and dedication would pave the way for a promising future.
