I am currently enrolled in the B.Tech program. I am in my final year. ZS Associates visited my college for two profiles, BTSA and DAA. I applied for the BTSA role and soon we got the invitation to appear for the subsequent rounds of test.

The selection procedure of ZS Associates consisted of 4 rounds :

Round 1 -Aptitude Test:

In this round we were asked aptitude questions relating to quants, patterns, guesstimates, etc., typical aptitude test-like questions with some basic programming questions as well not typical coding but identifying errors in syntax. This round was of 1hr and we received the results about a week later, I was shortlisted for the next round which was a verbal ability test.

Round 2 -Verbal Ability Test:

In this round we were given questions in the form of audio, we had to listen to them and then record the answers. Basically what happened was that there was a time limit for each question within which we had to record the answer. For this round, my advice would be to speak clearly and proficiently, not take long pauses, and try to stick to the point. There were also questions in which we were asked to speak on a topic given like your favorite sport(just an example). We were also required to write an essay on the given topic of about 200 words. We received the result the next morning and I was shortlisted for the next round which was the coding round.

Round 3 -Coding Round:

The coding round consisted of questions based on SQL , where we were supposed to write queries to get the desired output. There were questions based on basic programming like predicting the output, identifying errors , OOPs etc. For this round i would suggest to practice SQL , specially the joins . The difficulty level was medium to medium-hard . Within few hours the results were out , i was shortlisted for the final round which was Technical + HR interview.

Round 4 -Interview(Technical + HR):

The interview round was a combination of technical and HR round. The round began with the interview introducing himself and then i introduced myself. Keep the introduction short and crisp highlighting your technical proficiency and achievements . Then i was asked questions based on databases, SQL, OOPs. Guesstimates are crucial for ZS , so prepare accordingly. We also discussed projects mentioned in my resume and the emerging tech. I was also asked some basic human behavioral questions, which i think are easy . So or this round i would suggest to prepare your resume well , SQL , guesstimates are crucial topics and basic programming.

After some days the final results were out , consisting of the names of candidates selected for BTSA role and my name was one among them.
