Hi Everyone , in this article I would be sharing interview experience for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer at Zeni.ai which is a fintech startup.

So , starting with the interview experience , the recruiter reached out to me on Naukri. She was super helpful in the entire process. I shared my resume and after a quick call with recruiter my profile got shortlisted .

Round 1 : Technical Round

The first interview round was Technical Round where I was asked to introduce myself initially and a few quick questions on the resume. I was given 2 DSA problems to solve in 45 mins – 1 hr of time and time complexity was asked as well of the programs that I had written.

Round 2 : Hiring Manager Round

I successfully cleared round 1 and next round was scheduled which was Hiring Manager Round . In this round , the questions asked where mostly related to UI automation testing similar to how to handle scrolling , how to handle alerts , describe your automation framework in detail, types of waits and a couple of questions around finding locators etc . The questions were a mix of theoretical and practical questions

In this round, the manager also dig deep into my automation skills and asked a lot of questions around my automation experience , my day to day work roles and responsibilities etc. This round was a lengthy one and interviewer seemed to be very happy at my answers.

Round 3 : Co-Founder Round

This was my first ever interview with the co-founder , so I was nervous a bit. But the interviewer was very good . He asked me generic questions around my work at previous company and few other questions like reason for switch , notice period etc. He very calmly answered all my questions as well .

Result : I was selected

Tips : 1. Prepare your resume well .

2. Prepare the theoretical and practical automation questions related to your framework.

3. Prepare for DSA leet code easy and medium level questions.

4. Prepare for the testing methodologies related questions

5. Prepare for behavioural questions as well such as challenges faced , feedbacks received , innovations etc.

6. Know and visit the company page in advance so that you can ask questions related to company if any and this will showcase your interest in the role .

Overall the interview experience was good and the recruiter was helpful as well .

Thanks a lot for reading and best wishes!!
