Online Test 1

The online test consisted of 8 multiple-choice questions on OOP, DBMS, and OS concepts, and 4 coding questions. The coding questions were of medium difficulty, and I was able to solve 3 of them.

Online Technical Interview 1

The first online technical interview was focused on my Java skills and OOP concepts. The interviewer asked me to explain the difference between a class and an object and to give examples of inheritance, polymorphism, and abstraction. He also asked me to write code for a few simple Java programs, such as a program to reverse a string and a program to find the factorial of a number.

Online Technical Interview 2

The second online technical interview was focused on my DBMS and SQL skills. The interviewer asked me to explain the different types of database normalization and to write SQL queries to perform various operations on a database table. He also asked me to explain the difference between a primary key and a foreign key and to give examples of database indexes.

Offline (Pen and Paper) code-based Test

The pen-and-paper technical test was the most challenging round of the interview process. The interviewer gave me 4 coding questions, and I had to write the code for them on paper. The questions were of medium to high difficulty, and I was able to solve 3 of them.

Technical Interview on (Pen and Paper) Code-based Test

The pen-and-paper technical test was the most challenging round of the interview process. The interviewer asked how you have done this and how you can optimise it and some DBMS, OOPS, and SQL Questions.

Group Discussion

The group discussion round was conducted with a group of 6 candidates. The topic of the discussion was “The future of Nuclear Power” I participated actively in the discussion, and I was able to share my views and opinions on the topic clearly and concisely.

Managerial Round

The managerial round was a one-on-one interview with the hiring manager. The manager asked me questions about my experience, my skills, and my career goals. He also asked me why I was interested in working for Wissen Technology. I answered all of the questions honestly and thoughtfully, and I was able to convince the manager that I was a good fit for the role.

Outcome

Unfortunately, I did not clear the managerial round. The manager explained to me that he was looking for someone with more experience in the field. Despite the outcome, I am grateful for the opportunity to have interviewed at Wissen Technology. I had a positive experience overall, and I was impressed with the professionalism of the interviewers.
