Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Campus Experience for BCA

I started my graduation journey in the year 2020 at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi where I pursued my BCA. My college life was full of ups and downs at different stages but we couldn’t live our college life due to the pandemic for approximately two years and because of this, the classes were completely virtual. After seeing the academic curriculum I felt I was in the right place to learn.

Infrastructure:
My college is situated in Pitampura, Delhi. It is a private college but it comes under GGSIPU which is under the Delhi State Government. No need to worry about transportation because there are two metro stations (one on the left side of the college and the other on the right side) which are just 10 minutes away from the college. Also, there is a bus stop just outside the college. There is a Canteen, Amul Parlour, etc. The college also provides medical facilities, a Computer Centre, and also there is a huge library. There are separate buildings for different courses. The campus is small but very beautiful and greenery can be seen everywhere. The campus has a basketball court and also a ground where students can play cricket, football, etc.

Academics:
The college offers many courses such as BCA, MCA, B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BA(JMC), etc. All the departments are excellent and provide amazing opportunities. The faculties here are very talented and they help students in the best way possible.

My journey from First year to Final year:
Every fresher faces problems in the starting thinking about how to start things, from where to learn, our campus faculty and our seniors play a key role in making us not depend on anyone and making us self-learn. Students from different states all over India come together, enhance our college life with diverse experiences. The experiences I got from this college have not only shaped my career but also my personality.

Throughout my graduation, the faculty as well as seniors were guiding me in both studies and extracurricular pursuits. The hands-on learning and also the industry suitable syllabus had played an important role in enhancing my problem-solving skills.

One of the best phases of my graduation was the placement season. VIPS has good placement cell that works relentlessly to bring top companies for BCA students. The college prepares students to face the professional world by giving pre-placement training and also take mock interviews.

In conclusion, I just want to say that my time at VIPS has been an adventure which was filled with learning, personal upskilling and moments which I can’t forget. I am sure that the skills and everything that I have learned from here will push me towards a bright career in the field of IT.
