Velocity Noida Interview Experience for Software Developer

Recently, I had an interview with a company named as “Velocity”. This company is a start-up-based company and provides a package of 4.5 – 5.4 LPA.
A role for this company is Software Dev.

The pattern of Test:

• For the first round, they take an aptitude test, output predict programming questions, and 1 essay on a given topic in English language only.
• For the second round, they just asked basic programming questions and some SQL queries mostly focused on subquery and joins.

The good thing about this company is that it provides the proper Refreshment.

For the first day:

• Takes a lot of time for recruiting.
• For the first day, I had to spend 8 hours just interviewing.
• Also when once I completed my test in 1.5 hours, then immediately in the intervals of 10 minutes they brought a 2nd test paper with the same pattern but different questions. This thing is going on 4-5 times. And also they’re saying that you don’t have to sit free, you’ve to do anything(which means writing a test).

For the second day:

• I reached the office at 10 AM and my testing process is going till 8 PM of the same day.
• They giving me question papers again and again for SQL queries only.

To my knowledge, I got negative feedback for this company but I think it doesn’t look like same. However, I did not join the same company because I got the opportunity of a higher package from a different company.

Next time I will share the experience of that company.
