Ts04tech Interview Experience

I just attended an interview with TS04Tech Solutions, a renowned IT firm, for a career as a software engineer. I was anxious and enthusiastic about the interview. I evaluated basic coding ideas, reviewed my technical knowledge, and looked up the company’s most recent projects to get ready.

I made sure my laptop and internet connection were reliable on the day of the interview. Using a coding platform, the interview was done digitally. I put on business clothing and set up a spotless, uncluttered setting.

Introductions were made, and the objectives and current initiatives of the organization were briefly discussed. The technical portion then started. I was required to address code problems ranging from data structures to algorithms to real-world software design scenarios.

Some of the questions included

• Implement a function to find the maximum element in a stack.
• Design a simple REST API for a to-do list application.
• Explain the differences between object-oriented programming and functional programming.

I felt confident in tackling the coding challenges, as I had practiced similar problems beforehand. I used pseudocode and talked through my thought process as I approached each question, which the interviewers appreciated.

However, there was one question related to a complex algorithm optimization problem that caught me off guard. I struggled a bit to come up with an optimal solution within the given time frame. Despite this, I continued to communicate my ideas and attempted to devise a workable solution.

After the technical portion, I had the opportunity to ask questions about the company’s work culture, team dynamics, and future projects. This not only helped me assess if I was a good fit but also demonstrated my genuine interest in the company.

Post-interview, I was anxious about my performance, especially the challenging algorithm question. A week later, I received an email from the company’s HR, thanking me for my time and effort in the interview. While I didn’t receive an offer, they provided valuable feedback on my interview performance, including the areas where I did well and areas that needed improvement.
