Stylumia Interview Experience for SD (On-Campus) 2023

Stylumia came for on-campus hiring at our college at the start of October 2023.

Round 1: Online Test (MCQ)

It consisted of 45 questions to be solved in 45 minutes. Python, OS, SQL, CN, Linux, Probability, etc were asked for easy level.

Out of 200 students, 60 were shortlisted for the next round which was hands-on coding.

Round 2: Coding Round

It was a coding round test. They mainly judged us on our approach and not only on passing all test cases. It consisted of 6 questions in 2 hours. They expected us to solve at least 2 questions to get an interview call. Questions were from leetcode medium to hard level. I solved 2 full and got stuck in 3rd question (solved partially).

Questions:

• Few Matrix-based DP questions.
• Matrix chain multiplication.
• Minimum number of swaps to sort an array.

60 students gave the test and 20 were shortlisted for the interview.

Round 3: Technical Interview

There were two technical interviews scheduled but due to less number of students, they conducted single technical round. It was Face to Face round with two interviewers.

This interview lasted for around 1.5 hours (lenghty). They asked SQL queries, questions I solved in coding round, more dsa based questions on searching, sorting.

They asked tech that I mentioned in resume in detail including the projects. GIT, Linux, OS were also asked.

I almost gave all the answers and whenever I got stuck, the interviewers helped me and discussed the topics.

At last they were satisfied with my answers.

Round 4: HR interview Round

4 students were called for this round.

It was non elimination round. They only gave overview of job, salary and asked that if sometimes workload is more, how will you manage it etc, and some paperwork.

4 students were selected out of 20 who appeared for interview. I was one of them.

It can be cleared if some is confident in core computer science subjects and good at DSA. Leetcode questions are must for this company. Especially dynamic programming.
