Round 1:

After the initial CV screening, HR will send a video interview link.
Digital Video Recording Interview on HireVue:
Duration: 30 mins

  1. Can you provide a brief overview of your professional background and what motivated you to apply for the Technology Product Analyst role at State Farm?
  2. Can you share an example of a technical solution you determined in a previous role that had a significant impact on the organization’s processes?
  3. In your experience, how have you collaborated with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute tasks in alignment with Agile principles?
  4. Tell me about a time you had to deliver disappointing news to the team and executives.
  5. Describe an instance when you encountered conflict within a team. How did you navigate and resolve the situation?
  6. How do you approach complex work assignments to identify solutions for problems, issues, and risks?
  7. As a candidate in or near our hub locations, how do you plan to balance remote work and in-office collaboration in our hybrid work environment?

After further shortlisting, HR will reach out to schedule the next interview.

Round 2:

Duration: 60 mins.
Interviewers: Director of Technology Management and Senior Technology Manager. The interviewers started by introducing themselves and sharing insights on key roles and responsibilities of the role.

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. Share your experience dealing with customers and building features for them.
  3. Can you provide examples of specific technology strategies you’ve developed in your previous roles? Can you share an instance where your technology strategy effectively addressed current and future business needs?
  4. Do you have experience integrating AI/ML modules in the products you have built?
  5. How do you stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to inform your strategy development process?
  6. How did you ensure communication happens among all stakeholders?
  7. In your experience, how have you tailored communication to convey technical information to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise?
  8. Do you have experience writing white papers or documenting important information? What is your approach to presenting that crucial information to senior executives and other stakeholders?
  9. Are you open to relocation?
  10. Are you okay with the hybrid model?
  11. Do you have any questions for us?
