SRM Admission Experience

Introduction:

Before I start talking about my experience in my university. I need to tell you about how my education went on. I’m an MPC Student from Sri Chaitanya Junior College. I’ve tried for JEE in 2022 and put in all my efforts but couldn’t crack it. Later on, I tried for the remaining university exams. By the way, I’ve tried SRM University’s exam SRMJEEE. I’ve done finally phase 3 of its exam. I suggest who are trying to attempt or trying to come to this university make sure they get selected in phases 1 and 2.

The criteria and process to join this university are through:

• Through SRMJEEE
• Through SRMAPET – which is EAPCET.

By the way, finally, I got selected into SRM which is my dream university to come for. So I’ve completed my registration process and selected Computer Science and Engineering in the specialization of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Fees of this university will vary accordingly depending upon the branch chosen, specialization chosen, and through which mode of exam you’re joining to SRM.

In my time(2022), the fees for the CSE branch at SRM AP :

• Through SRMJEEE – 3.15 lakh
• Through SRMAPET – 75k excluding some extra fees which vary between 15 to 20k.

My Experience:

In my opinion, it’s a good growing university with all the features enabled in it. Like, AC classrooms, Good labs, Average hostel food, Good hostel rooms, Well-educated faculty, and many more. it is a still developing campus at this time, and still more needs to be developed. But as of now, it’s a good college.

Well, if we compare this college with the SRM Chennai branch, in some aspects this college will be good in some more aspects the Chennai branch would be better. I would say other than this university, no other college is better in Andhra Pradesh. As it’s still developing, in future years its fees will also be increased as per my guess.

This university provides many facilities to go abroad as well as good placements. The highest placement until now is 50 lakhs for two twins, which was hired by Google Japan. CGPA matters here for good placements i.e., to get selected for high and good package placements. It needs to be a minimum of 8 to 8.5.

There are many things to explore in clubs and co-curricular activities at SRMAP. There are also fests which will be conducted by student affairs and some other departments of the University.
