PyQt5 QSpinBox – Switching off updates

In this article we will see how we can switch off the updates of the spin box, switching off updates means it will not get any update like value change and even it will not display as show method will also have no effect on it. By default updates are on for spin box.

In order to do so we use setUpdatesEnabled method.

Syntax : spin_box.setUpdatesEnabled(False)

Argument : It takes bool as argument

Return : It returns None
