I started my graduation journey in the year 2021 at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar where I pursued a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Till now my college experience was filled up with ups and downs at different stages.

About the Campus:

Kiit has 23 campuses which span 25 sq. km. The campus houses a 2600-bedded super specialty hospital, KIMS, a multi-story central library, a central research facility, a 22-story research and innovation wing, auditoriums &#x2013 the largest one with 5000 seating capacity, 16 sports complexes, many international standard stadiums covering all sports, 30 food courts, and a rose garden. The institution takes pride in being the greenest campus in India.

First-Year Experience:

My first year of college was entirely online due to covid, but I still manage to make new friends. Even though the classes were in online mode still I got an opportunity to learn new things every day where I mostly explored topics related to my curriculum. The teachers were very supportive, cooperative and taught even the most difficult subjects in the easiest manner possible. The labs were conducted regularly where the main focus was maintained on practical knowledge apart from the theoretical classes. There were quizzes and doubt-clearing sessions conducted so that the student must clear all their doubts about the concepts.

Second-Year Experience:

The Second Year experience was just fantastic, as we have classes in offline mode. 14th August 2022 was the day when I visited my college for the first time, the campus was very beautiful with lots of greenery all around. I met with all my friends for the first time with whom I was communicating in online mode. I enjoyed a lot with my friends and also participated in many contests, workshops, etc. I also had a good CGPA at the end of my second-year year journey.

Conclusion:

It is my third year in the campus and hope that the next two years in the campus will be as fascinating, thrilled, and joyful as the last two years were…Overall, it was the best campus I have ever visited yet
